CIPR WIN FOR HYUNDAI AND PROSTATE CANCER CHARITY
Having played an instrumental role in sky-rocketing the brands profile (and sales) over the last 12 months, markettiers4dc were delighted to see Hyundai triumph at the CIPR Excellence Awards 2010. Deservedly scooping the inaugural Automotive award through winning the scrappage sales war, Hyundai have firmly established themselves as leading lights in automotive PR. markettiers4dc led all the broadcast media activity for the brand around the 2009 car scrappage scheme. We delivered a combined broadcast audience of 100m+ in the first 24hrs of the scrappage scheme announcement alone, through intelligent tactical implementation, expert counsel and the power of our top tier broadcast media relationships – all of which saw markettiers4dc themselves nominated in the CIPR Excellence Broadcast category.
There was also success for Prostate Cancer Charity in the not-for-profit category. The charity won for their excellent work on Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in 2009. Markettiers4dc worked with the Prostate Cancer Charity throughout the month, arranging radio interviews for key charity spokespeople and producing a live WebTV show with Dr Hilary Jones.
