markettiers worked alongside the international law firm Gowling WLG to increase awareness of their Trade Deal or No Deal report on US business confidence in the UK economy post-Brexit.
Harnessing the media speculation on what the post Brexit future holds for business we created a PR story that showcased the US business perspective on this uncertainty. After polling US businesses we generated coverage to raise the international profile of Gowling WLG, therefore establishing the company as the leading legal advisers on conducting business in the EU.
We began the day with BBC Radio 4’s News Briefing and Sky News Radio, the latter of which was broadcasted to 300 commercial stations in the UK. This was followed by Jazz FM’s Business Breakfast, Bloomberg Radio Breakfast and Share Radio and an interview on the BBC News Channel’s Business Bulletin. In a first for markettiers we arranged a live transatlantic down-the-line TV-style interview with a major US business website The Street.com from our Clerkenwell studios. We do this regularly for TV and usually film pre-recorded clips for websites to use, but in keeping with online media owners acting more and more like traditional TV broadcasters The Street.com now takes live interviews.
