GM SPORTS LAUNCH OF MASTERS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DUBAI

Adam Gilchrist, Brian Lara, Wasim Akram, Graham Gooch, Rami Raja, Dean Jones and Allan Border were just some of the stars that came to Dubai to promote the announcement of the Masters Champions League (MCL) - a new, unique T20 cricket tournament for retired players created by GM Sports.

Launched at the iconic building of the Burj Al Arab, the former cricket legends were on hand at a press conference to tell journalists all about the tournament and why they were so excited to be involved. With the aim of encouraging more Emiratis to play the sport, markettiers4dc were on hand to manage all broadcast media relations from the event as well as providing B-roll and a video feature package for TV and online media respectively. Gilchrist, Lara and Akram, who will be taking part in the tournament scheduled for early next year, spoke about their love for the game, the competition and the opportunity to play with some of their former arch rivals.

Immediately after the press conference, markettiers4dc edited B-roll together onsite and this was swiftly issued to the broadcast media who had been made aware of the footage they were to expect. We had interviews running with Sky Sports News TV, SNTV (Associated Press), PA, Cricket World (Online), Cricket 365 (Online), SA Cricket Magazine (Online)and City 7 TV in Dubai.
