WORLD'S LARGEST JIGSAW PUZZLE

DMCC briefed markettiers on capturing the build and reveal of the World’s Largest Jigsaw Puzzle as DMCC sought to break the world record.

The huge jigsaw – which was over three Olympic sized swimming pools in length alone – was created to celebrate the Year of Zayed, and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the nation’s late founding father, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.  As part of this, markettiers were on site to capture the reveal both aerially via drone (to showcase the huge scale) and on the ground itself as this was unveiled at a VIP ceremony of business leaders and dignitaries.  The team also captured soundbites with the Chairman of DMCC and an Official Adjudicator from Guinness World Records, who was on hand to verify the feat.

 

The team edited the content together overnight in English and Arabic, delivering Video News packages and B-Roll content to highlight the scale of the feat. In addition, the team utilised timelapse footage of the build and used the drone content to both capture video and still images for media. The content was immediately issued and sold into media upon approval with sites.
