Egmont: Light Book Launch

markettiers4dc worked to deliver broadcast coverage for Michael Grant’s Light book release, the sixth and final instalment in the bestselling ‘Gone’ series.

Bestselling author, Michael Grant has previously been a very popular guest with UK broadcasters and as such the final instalment of this series created a great deal of media interest. To amplify the release of Light, markettiers4dc produced a WebTV show filmed on location which was streamed to targeted websites.

markettiers4dc's production team were positioned onsite at Stoke Newington High School and streamed a live and interactive presentation, reading & Q&A through Michael's Facebook timeline and on third party websites. Our presenter invited questions from the audience and shared a snapshot of questions received online, for Michael to answer.

The stream was featured on targeted online portals including Shout Magazine, Times Education Supplement and Love Reading 4 kids. The Q&A session with the author encouraged further engagement with the book and driving approximately 80 questions sent in from the public.
