On the 25th of October Random House released Touching Distance, a book written by both James Cracknell and Beverley Turner. The book documents James's life as an Olympic rower, his subsequent career as an endurance athlete and how he and his family have rebuilt his life since the accident he suffered, causing horrific brain injuries, in 2010.
Tasked with supporting Random House’s internal press team and given only a short window of time with James and Beverley, markettiers4dc broadened awareness of the books release through online media by producing two bespoke video features which were embedded with click-to-purchase technology. Harnessing the emotive, dual voice narrative of the book, these videos were aggregated on high indexing websites which provided online media with a fresh and exclusive insight into this period of the family’s life together.
