NATS

Most recently we joined NATS at their Knowledge Sharing Forum, which saw business leaders and aviation specialists from around the world unite in Doha to collaborate and share ideas around preparing Qatar’s aviation infrastructure for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup in 2022.

With a major international sporting event to plan for, and an influx of many thousands of spectators from around the world expected to descend on the host nation, our crew were on hand to film and capture all of the action from the forum that included key speakers, a panel Q&A session and vox pops with the business leaders. Amongst the speakers included H.H Akbar Al Baker, GCEO of Qatar Airways who spoke of his pride at winning the World Cup bid.

These assets were compiled to create a series of engaging films to demonstrate NATS’ experience in managing airspace around high profile events such as the Olympic Games in 2012 and to highlight the challenges and opportunities when it comes to managing one’s aviation infrastructure.

Where the world will live in 2050

Earlier this year, markettiers4dc worked with NATS to maximise broadcast media coverage around their ‘Where the world will live in 2050’ campaign. With Dubai Airports overtaking Heathrow this year as the busiest airport in terms of international passenger numbers, NATS wanted to highlight why now is the time to get airspace right in the Middle East.

We worked with the CEO of Dubai Tourism to provide a proof point to highlight why tourism is booming in Dubai. Then, using fresh footage, graphics and animation, we created a future gazing piece to highlight the solutions to managing air traffic management problems of the future, showcasing NATS’s expertise in the field. A full media relations exercise was undertaken that saw us secure coverage on sites including International Business Times, Khaleej Times and Arabian Business among many others.

NATS opens dedicated Middle East office

markettiers4dc worked with NATS to highlight its first permanent office in Dubai. With Al Maktoum Airport in Dubai destined to become the world's largest by 2030, we were bought on board to maximise coverage both locally with media in the Middle East and on a global scale to reach a key audience in the aviation industry.

Using a multi camera shoot, key senior figures from NATS were filmed speaking about the critical challenges the aviation industry faces, as well as filming a media roundtable event to highlight the company's commitment to mastering the GCC's invisible infrastructure – its airspace. markettiers4dc also conducted a high profile interview with the Executive Chairman of the DMCC who formally welcomed NATS to Dubai, which was filmed against the stunning backdrop of the Almas Towers, one of the tallest skyscrapers in Dubai.

The media outreach was executed by both markettiers4dc's Dubai and London offices, working collaboratively. With key media in the UAE a focus, coverage was secured on national site 7 Days, as well as with media including Arabian Business, Arabian Aerospace, Aviation Tribune, Advance and Air Traffic Management
