At the Geneva International Motor Show Press Day on March 6 2018, we secured 15 different global TV channels, TV news agencies and Radio 5 Live for our clients Rolls-Royce, Nissan and Renault.
With Donald Trump threatening a 25% increase in tariffs on European cars, questions about diesel, and an ever-increasing focus on gender in the industry, markettiers' automotive client advisory team closely managed each and every interview.
The night before Press Day, CNN, BBC World, Bloomberg TV and Sky News' Ian King Live all led the way with interviews. On the day itself, coverage extended through a range of broadcasters, from Reuters TV to Germany's Deutsche Welle and n-tv, France 24 International to Spain's TV3.
In all we co-ordinated 28 interviews for the CEO of Rolls-Royce, Renault's COO and a range of senior executives from Nissan.
Having delivered global broadcast interviews we turned our hand to producing a raft of digital content. For Nissan, we produced the multi camera live feed of their press conference for broadcasters and streamed it live via the internet, including Nissan’s social channels, for Nissan employees and wider stakeholder engagement. We also created a dozen pieces of video content including b-roll, cut news package and internal and external comms videos.
