As coronavirus continues to impact people’s lives and businesses, we want to reassure you about the measures we’re taking to maintain the high levels of service you expect and provide details of how broadcast media and we are responding to the evolving situation.
First of all, the health and safety of our colleagues and clients is our priority. With this in mind we will keep up to date with and follow all Government advice. We have robust business continuity plans in place and throughout this time we will be working hard to ensure we continue to deliver for you, keeping your business in touch with your audiences.
Our teams are mobile-ready and prepared and equipped to work remotely, with the necessary IT security systems in place for data protection. We are also offering Skype and telephone meetings in place of face-to-face ones to help client’s react to what is happening and activate projects along planned timelines.
Likewise, whilst our studios remain open for down the line TV and radio interviews, as well as live streaming events which have been postponed or cancelled due to the pandemic, we also are equipped to record, edit, distribute and report on video and audio content remotely (as well as research projects).
As you will have seen and heard, there is a huge appetite from broadcast media to hear from individuals and brands about how they are responding to the situation. We are also experiencing an increased demand for pre-record audio content, which is a highly effective way of ensuring key messages are carefully controlled (since we record and edit the content), both relating to and unrelated to COVID-19, through access to 200+ radio stations who favour this format.
Our conversations with media this week have also revealed there is a desire for non-health related stories and content outside the national news agenda. Should you wish to discuss the appropriateness of activating such stories at this time and the best strategic and creative approach to adopt if so, our senior broadcast consultants are ideally positioned to do so.
