Raising Awareness of Cows' Milk Allergy

On 7th June markettiers4dc helped to raise awareness of Cows' Milk Allergy, which is the most common food allergy in infants and young children.

Taking a multi-channel approach, the campaign, supported by Allergy UK, targeted new parents with educational messaging and engage them with interactive content in the form of a live webTV show alongside a comprehensive radio interview schedule. To add weight to the story markettiers4dc conducted research to demonstrate the confusion among parents of the allergy.

We recruited spokespeople Jenni Falconer (TV Presenter and new mum) and Lindsay McManus (Allergy UK) who worked with report author Dr Adam Fox, to carry out a packed day of radio interviews, as well as a live and interactive webTV show and pre-recorded video feature.

Over 170 items of broadcast coverage was secured and featured with the likes of BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Scotland, LBC, BBC 3 Counties, Closer Online, Heart, Swansea Sound, WebMD, Sky News Radio, Sunrise, BBC Midlands Hub, eParenting, Family Rapp, Female First, New Mother, Primary Times, Supanet and Baby Centre.
