First Latin American Business Forum in the UAE

Extensive coverage secured across the Middle East and Latin America from overnight editing & production

Challenge:

To support the first ever Latin American Business Forum in the United Arab Emirates – its purpose was to explore the means by which nations across the two regions should continue to grow their business relations and revenue. There were more than 500 prominent stakeholders participating including heads of state, policymakers, CEOs, business leaders, investors and industry professionals. Our task was to ensure coverage was maximized across the two regions.

Solution:

markettiers was on-site for the two day event delivering a series of cut packages and b-roll content. The international news agenda of that week was challenging with the US election result dominating the headlines. Therefore markettiers recommended cherry-picking key soundbites from delegates that commented on the Republican electoral win. In addition, markettiers created 6 x b-roll local language packages for Argentinean, Brazilian, Chilean, Colombian, Mexican and GCC TV press as well as cut packages in English and Spanish for the online / pan regional media.

Results:

30 sites across the two regions in Latin America and the GCC covered the content and 55 TV stations also confirmed that they had downloaded the footage. Key coverage highlights included Arabian Business, El Correo Del Golfo, Al Wattan Voice, ElPoltico.com as well as Gulf News’ Facebook page with the content being shared 124 times, receiving 1000 likes and having 24,000 views.
