Raising awareness of Santander’s newest digital offering, their KiTTi app for mobile devices, across broadcast media platforms.
Challenge:
Develop a platform that would allow Santander to discuss their newest digital offering, KiTTi, an app that allows users to contribute money to a central fund through their mobile phone with the total amount then delivered to a nominated member of the group on a prepaid card.
Solution:
Honing in on a situation likely to be recognisable to many of the target audience, we focused on unpaid membership fees at amateur sports clubs and the impact this was having on their ability to thrive. Popular pundit, former footballer and grass roots champion Ian Wright was enlisted as the spokesperson for the broadcast interviews.
Results:
Interview opportunities were secured with BBC Radio 4, BBC 5live, BBC London and the Victoria Derbyshire television show. These early morning opportunities were undertaken from BBC’s central London studios before Ian returned to the markettiers studio for back-to-back interviews with several regional BBC broadcasters including BBC Wales, BBC Leicester, BBC Sussex and Surrey and many others
